If you look closely at the deep rich soil near the roots of Dub you would likely encounter earlyW~Rm . A modern Digital Dub artist that has been inspired by the masters yet lead by technology. Since he began producing Dub in 2003 earlyW~Rm’s mission was to bring his sound as close to classic Dub as possible using only his laptop. Saxophone was the gateway to early’s musical journey, by using the “Version” sides of a Reggae 45 collection he had acquired he spent endless hours blowing over vintage riddims. As he grew more confident he began playing in bands and doing session work in his hometown of Toronto. It wasn’t long after his first exposure to the studio he realized that producing was what he really wanted to do. Always drawn to urban sounds he dabbled in Funk, Acid Jazz, House and Dr um & Bass music production all the time building an arsenal of tricks that he would later take back to his love of Dub. Creating futuristic sounds while firmly planted in Dubs earth earlyW~Rm has emerged with some heavy selections of bass thumping head turning Future Dub.
