Josie ‘Bigfinga’ Coppola is best known as the drummer with The Evolution, the backing band of reggae singer Gentleman. Bigfinga is highly regarded as a producer and engineer, and over the last two years he has been working on his own first production, drafting in some of the best reggae musicians and singers in Jamaica and Europe.

Aldubb is well know in the Dub scene as producer, live artist and remixer. He's running the planet-earth-studio in Berlin, where he has developed his trademark sound that is working so well with Big Finga's compositions.

The Bigdubb project is actually a collection of Big Finga's productions, that have been mostly recorded by members Feueralarm. Some were voiced by JA singers Joseph Cotton, the late Sugar Minott, Luciano, Melchezidek and South Africa’s Black Dillinger.
At Planet Earth Studio in Berlin, Aldubb cut dub versions of both vocal and instrumental cuts.

The experienced and super-tight Feueralarm alarm band – featuring Odi Bassy Zepezauer and guitarists Toby ‘Left Hand’ Zepezauer and Florian 'Stahl' Münzer – deliver an unmistakeable fat live sound. The additional players include Denis Furier and Kirk Ajani McDowell (keyboards), Ben Aberbenal Wolf and Dean Frazier (saxophone), Stew Krause (trumpet). Produced by Aldubb and Bigfinga.

The album is released on One Drop Music as a 12” LP with nine tracks.
